Abstract
PURPOSE:To remove the variance of mass-production by a simple unit and through less processes, by using boron powder as a diffusion material applied on a base body, and also by applying boron powder by electrostatic sucking force. CONSTITUTION:On base body 1 for a diaphragm for an acoustic converter, coating layer 2 of a powdery diffusing material such as boron and a boron compound is formed by sticking and base body 1 is heated in an adequate method hot enough for the diffusing material, constituting layer 2, to intruding into base body 1; and this diffusion material is diffused by permeating by electrostatic sucking force to form a diffusion area in base body 1. Viewing the section of base body 1, the entire layer 2 of the diffusing material is diffused in one of its thickness direction. This is attained by controlling the thickness of layer 2 formed on base body 1 while paying attention to the thickness of desired diffusion area 3 to the thickness of base body 1.
