Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the utilizing efficiency of sun ray, by tracking the sun intermittently with the sun sensor when the intensity detected for the direct sun ray is more than a given value and with the pulse control circuit when the direct sun ray is interrupted.
CONSTITUTION: The signal detecting the amount of direct sun ray with the direct sun ray level detection element 11 is amplified 12 and fed to the level set circuit 13. ON signal is outputted when the signal is more than a given level, to open the gates 15, 16 and OFF signal is outputted when less than the value to open the gates 17 and 18. In case of exceeding level, the signal from the photo detectors 21a, 21b, 31a, 31b, for each hour angle and declination tracking drives the motors 27, 37 via the amplifiers 24, 34 to track the sun accurately. Inversely, when the signal is under the given level, the gates 15, 16 are closed, and the gates 17, 18 are opened. Thus, the sun can intermittently be tracked based on the signals from the reference time genrating circuit 41 and the rotational angle detection circuit 43.
