Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to measure viscosity over a stir by making a temperature even by stirring a liquid in a container by a stirring method and also by allowing this stirring method to serve as a rotor obtaining the viscosity torque of a viscometer.
CONSTITUTION: The viscosity torque of liquid 17 to be measured generated through the turning of propeller 12 is transmitted to torque converter 18 by way of pulleys 101 and 102, belt 11, and coupling 22. The output of torque converter 18 is amplified by dynamic strain measurer 19, whose output is supplied to voltmeter 20, thereby reading a corresponding torque value. Then, the viscosity of measured liquid 17 is determined by the rotational frequency of the stirring propeller indicated on voltmeter 16 and the torque indicated on voltmeter 20.
