Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the assembling and to improve the reliability, by fitting the resilient hair-pin shaped board chip having the function of key and circular spring to the tubular face of hub member then securing to axially slidable supporter. CONSTITUTION:When operating the shift lever from neutral to bring the sleeve 130 to the right, hair-pin shaped synchronous driving member 140 is interlocked by the resistance against the sleeve 130, thereby the pressure section 146 contacts against the ring 50 to bring it to the right. Consequently inner conical section 51 is engaged with engaging means 60 through a ring 50. Here the teeth 152, 132 of ring 50 and sleeve 130 are out of phase thereby turning right of tooth 132 is blocked by tooth 52 to increase the engagement through inner conical section 51 thus to provide clutching function. When the difference of rotation between hub 120 and engaging means 60 becomes small, the sleeve 130 can turn to the right thus to engage between teeth 132, 62 and to complete the shifting.
