Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the reduction of radiation efficiency by forming uniform fluorescent substance layer without effecting special forced sispersion means in case the fluorescent substance coating film is formed by coating the liquid, in which powder of fluorescent substance is suspended in soluble lacquer, on the inner surface of bulbes and dring it.
CONSTITUTION: Fluorescent coating film is formed by painting suspension of fluorescent substance, obtained by suspending fluorescent substance in soluble lacquer obtained by dissolving soluble macromolecular organic substance into water and adding polycarboxylic acid ammonium salt as dispersing agent, on the inner surface of the bulbes and dry it afterwards forcively under a defined constant condition. After that, the said bulb is heated and organic macromolecular substance, which is a material of lacquer and remained in the film of fluorescent substance, and said dispersing agent is burnt and removed. According to this method, it is possible to increase the dispersibility of fluorescent substance in soluble lacquer by dispersing agent, accordingly, it is possible to dissolve to pulverize particles of fluorescent substance into much more finer grains than necessitated by effecting special forced dispersion means in order to increase the dispersibility.
