Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure automatic proper heating irrespective of variations in the ambient temperature.
CONSTITUTION: A bridge circuit consisting of resistors R1-R4 is connected with a comparison circuit 13 and a correction circuit 14 which acts according to the volume and quality of food. The comparison circuit 13 controls the current flowing in the primary coil of a relay RL according the difference between a reference voltage VR and a temperature detection voltage VI which corresponds to the output of a resistor R2 (e.g. temperature sensitive element 8 consisting of a thermistor). In the correction circuit 14, the voltage of a d-c source 10 is distributed to resistors R7 and R8; the voltage across the resistor 8 is fed to the junction of a capacitor C and a resistor R6. The resistor R8 is made of a temperature sensitive element 15 (thermistor) for ambient temperature correction, so that the voltage VR is controlled according to the ambient temperature, resulting in proper heating.
