Abstract

PURPOSE: Raw liquid is supplied to the treating chamber in quantitative mode and length of upper overlapped row of rotating filter element is made to shorter than lower overlapped row of it. By doing so, degradation of concentration of suspension in the filtrate can be prevented without lowering the treating capacity.
CONSTITUTION: In a left and right side wall; 8 and 9 of a treating chamber 1, two overlapping rows of rotating filtering element are installed in such a way that they are placed adjacent to a slurry discharge outlet 5: the twos are located both in upper and lower part of the chamber 1. Each filtering element of upper and lower part is directed in reversal form and that is rotated so that rotating direction of both parts is toward the discharge outlet 5. The raw liquid is fed from an agglutination agitating vessel 21 to a feeding inlet 3 by a quantitative pump 22 without doing any pressurization and is fed to a take-out tube 19 in natural mode. Also, the length of overlapped row is made to shorter than the lower overlapped row. By doing so, when the dried slurry falls from upper overlapped row to lower overlapped row, the slurry is avoided from stacking running out from the lower overlapped row.
