Abstract

PURPOSE:To better electric characteristics while improving mechanical strength, by producting an insulated wire by foaming after simultaneously covering a conductor by extruding a foaming insulating layer and a non-foaming layer. CONSTITUTION:A conductor 1 going out from a nipple 2 is penetrated to a double die manufactured by combining a die 5 for a foaming insulating layer and a die 7 foa a non-foaming layer on a die holder 6, and covered with a polyolefine material 3 for foaming and a polyolefine material 4 for non-foaming by simultaneously extruding the material 3 and the material 4. And a high foaming polyolefine insulated wire is obtained by foaming polyolefine for foaming. Polyolefine materials for foaming and for non-foaming are completely unified because both are under melted conditions, thus improving mechanical strength. Polyethylene and polypropylene with not les than 55% swelling ratio are used as high foaming polyolefine. Polyethylene and polypropylene are utilized as the non-foaming layer.
