Abstract
PURPOSE:Heaters are distributed and embedded directly in the mold or in upper and lower bolsters supporting the mold and a guide block guiding plunger, thereby preventing the occurrence of uncuring and unloading even when the molding cycle is shortened. CONSTITUTION:Upper and lower halves 20, 32 of the mold are always heated to a uniform temperature by heaters 26, 34 which are embedded in upper and lower bolsters 19, 31. Further, plunger 24 also is heated by heater 27 in guide block 22 even when it stays above during except polymer extrusion. Resultingly, when molding is effected by putting down plunger 24 to extrude the resin that begins to melt on cull 35 through main and sub-runners 36, 37 and gate 38 into the cavity of the mold, the resin is sufficiently heated so that each resin in the cavity, runners, cull and oters attains a specified hardness during heated after a prescribed time because each half of the mold is uniformly heated.
