Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the fall down of the distribution wire due to the lightening, by providing arresters at both ends of the insulator secured to the pole while supporting the winding grip for the distribution wire by means of the conductors fixed at both ends of said insulator.
CONSTITUTION: Supproting arm 3 is secured to the pole 1 while the winding grip 5 is tightly wound around the distribution wire 2 supported by the supporting insulator 3 on said supporting arm 4. Connecting metal 6 is further fixed to the winding grip 5 and connected with chain conductor 7. While insulator 10 associated with arrester 11 is secured to the pole 1, and branch metal 9 and turnbuckle 8 are provided at both ends of the insulator 10. Surge current due to the lightening flows through connecting metal 6 of winding grip 5, thrnbuckle 8, branch metal 9 to the arrester 11 thus to reduce the breaking of wire considerably. Since the wire is broken in the proximity of the pole 1, it never fall down.
