Abstract

PURPOSE: An electrode for ozonizer which is capable of enhancing O3-generating efficiency without the reduction of effective discharge area and any damage to bonding strength, having a structure in which two metal foils with great numbers of small holes at different positions, between wich a thin film is put, are arranged between dielectric plates and then adhered integrally.
CONSTITUTION: The two metal foils 2 with great numbers of small holes 3, connected to out-going terminal, are arranged between the dielectric plates 1 and 1 formed by laminating semi-hardened integrates mica sheets 5. These metal foils 2 are made to have 3 to 10 mm diameter small holes having an occuptying rate of 10 to 30 % by using stainless steel, A1, or Cu foil, and furthermore the reductin of effective discharge area is prevented by avoiding the superposition of small holes of the two foils 2. More than one thin film 6 is put between the two foils 2, in which the thin film 6 is used as a bonding core of the plate 1; that is, the bonding strength between the plates 1 and 1 is protected by the adhesion of varnish passing through the small holes. The material for the thin film 6 is the same one as the plate 1 or glass cloth, etc..
