Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve workability at the forming of abrasion resistant layer, heat resistance and adhesiveness between thin films by using a Fe-Ni alloy for electrode material.
CONSTITUTION: Electrodes 3 formed by way of a heating resistor 2 composed of heat-resistant material such as Ni-Cr alloy or other on an alumina substrate 1 is formed of a Fe-Ni alloy whose coefficient of thermal expansion changes with compositions. As a result, the hardness of the Fe-Ni alloy is more than 3 times that of Au, hence the thickness of the abrasion resistant layer 4 formed thereon may be made thinner and this improves the workability at the forming of the abrasion resistant layer 4. In addition the Fe-Ni alloy temperature is above 960°C and therefore the temperature at the making of the electrodes 3 may be increased and the temperature at the making of the abrasion resistant layer 4 may be increased, thus stable heat resistance may be obtained. Further, the coefficients of thermal expansion of the heating resistor 2 and abrasion-resistant layer 4 may be matched by controlling the coefficients of thermal expansion in their thickness direction by changing the compositions of the electrodes 3 and therefore thermal distortion is minimized and the adhesiveness between the thin films is assured.
