Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate virtually the electrode shift at the welding time by reducing the thickness at the welding part for the structure of the beam disc support, and thus to enhance greatly the alignment accuracy for the pickup tube.
CONSTITUTION: The electrode is assembled so that the electron beam radiated from cathode 1 may pass through each center hole of 1st grid 2, 2nd grid 3 and beam limit aperture. For this purpose, the thickness of welding part A is reduced for the structure of beam disc support 6. As a result, a small fusing range is secured for the welding part, and thus virtually no shift is caused for the electrode at the welding time. Thus, the alignment accuracy can be enhanced greatly for the pickup tube.
