Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a work to be machined (or processed) with high accuracy by controlling slide table stopping position in such a manner as to compensate the stopper position on the basis of difference between average measurement value and set value of the work's dimensions.
CONSTITUTION: No. 1 comparator 13, which receives inputs of an average value signal and a set value signal, compares these signals and makes an output of a compensation signal to No. 2 comparator 14. At the same time, No. 2 comparator 14 also receives an input of displacement value signal. The displacement value signal is put out from a displacement value detector 12 which plays a role of an induction scale, and thus detected electric signal represents a displacement of stopping position of a slide table 8, and therefore, this value is to be zero (0) as long as the stopping position remain unchanged. The compensation signal having been put into No. 2 comparator is put out to a driving unit 15 to compensate for the stopper position in accordance with content of the compensation signal.
