Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a repeating system which demands no deliberation about a circuit insersion loss and distortional noise by applying a phase modulator or phase shifter, interposed between a shift oscillator and shift converter, only to a single shift frequency regardless of a reception frequency band. CONSTITUTION:Two received waves of the same frequency from antennas 1 and 8, branched and filtered, are amplified to a fixed level before being converted into a transmitting frequency by shift converters 6 and 13. One output of shift oscillator 15 is supplied to shift converter 6 via phase shifter 16, and the other to shift converter 13 after phase modulation 18 by the signal of low-frequency oscillator 19. Outputs having been converted into transmitting waves are filtered, mixed by synthesizer 21 and branched partially by branch circuit 22, and detection circuit 23 detects a low-frequency signal which varies in size corresponding to the phase of the composite input signal. Then, synchronous detector 20 detects the polarity in phase of the low-frequency signal together with the output of low-frequency oscillator 19 to drive phase shifter 16 via control circuit 17, so that the input wave of synthesizer 21 will be in phase.
