Abstract
PURPOSE:To radiate laser light evenly onto recording material by removing the gaseous matter produced from the recording material at the radiation of laser light from the radiation region by air current in the recoder which performs recording by thermally deforming the recording material with laser light. CONSTITUTION:A laser recording material 10 with its recording layer thermally deforming through radiation of laser light being faced downward moves underside of platen 13 by way of rollers 11, 12. The laser light 21 generated from a light source 20 is deflected with light deflectors 23, 24 and is focused onto the recording layer by a lens system 25, whereby recording is performed. Air is blown through a nozzle 32 from a blower 31 at the same instant of laser light radiation toward the region 30 where the laser light is radiated to the recording material 10 to blow off the gaseous matter produced from the recording material at the recording from the region 30. The gaseous matter thus blown off is sucked through a nozzle 33 by a blower 35 and is released to the outside of the apparatus.
