Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify circuit constitution by using the elements per se which convert the changes of physical phenomena to changes of resistance values as load resistances.
CONSTITUTION: Magnetoresistance effect elements whose resistance values change with the directions and intensities of magnetic fields are disposed two pieces at a right angle to provide load resistances R5, R6 and MOS transistors T1, T2 as active elements are crossed to constitute a bistable circuit. Capacitors C1, C2 are connected to output ends 7, 8. Then, when a voltage is applied between terminals 6, 9 after the charges of the capacitors C1, C2 are discharged with the terminal 6 being made at the same potential as that of ground terminal 9, then the capacitors C1, C2 are charged through the load resistances R5, R6 and the voltage of the terminal 7 or 8 on the side of a shorter time constant exceeds the threshold voltages of MOS transistors T1, T2 earlier, then one of the MOS transistors T1, T2 conducts and one voltage of the terminals 7, 8 lowers and the other voltage rises, whereby charging up to the supply voltage is accomplished.
