Abstract

Then, optical signals are applied to circuit 7 by low voltage part control circuit 9, and check terminal 262 is provided to measure gate signals of thyristor 1 outputted from pulse transformer 8. As a result, it is unnecessary to apply the main circuit voltage and establish the gate power supply to perform the test, and the insulation of a measuring equipment, etc., is needless. Besides, in case of the equivalent load test and the high-voltage turn on test, the DC power is supplied to terminal 261 to operate thyristor 1, so that the test can be performed by the established gate power supply.
