Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure the effective erasion of the ghost signal caused by the multiple reflection through the TV picture receiver by calculating the tap gain correction value at the arithmetic circuit and via the output of the transversal filter and then correcting the tap gain of the nonvolatile memory. CONSTITUTION:Nonvolatile memory 24 memorizes the tap gain corresponding to each channel of the TV broadcast, reads out the tap gain of the channel from memory 24 in response to the selected broadcast channel, and adds the TV picture receiving signal to the tap gain load via transversal filter 12 with the read-out gain as the original value. Then the tap gain correction value is calculated 23 via the output of filter 12, and the tap gain of filter 12 is corrected based on the tap gain correction value. At the same time, the tap gain of memory 24 is renewed to the correction value. In this way, the ghost signal caused by the multiple reflection of the TV picture receiver can be erased effectively.
