Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable editing of video information to be performed as well in addition to ordinary copying by providing markers which are arbitrarily movable in the scanning direction, a row assigning device, a photoreceptor position detecting device, a scanning system moving position detector, a charge controller, etc. CONSTITUTION:Markers 32, 33 for assigning the row or range to be changed in the scanning direction of the original are movably provided along the side face of a contact glass 12 for placement of the original and a reference marker 34 is fixedly provided respectively. Sensors 35, 36, 37 are respectively mounted to the respective markers to constitute the row assigning device. The number of the graduations when a scale belt 40 moves is counted by a counter 121 and the count value thereof is inputted to a computer 123. On the other hand, the outputs from the respective sensors of a scanning system moving position detector are counted with an up-down counter 125 and in a computer 123 the calculation such as of the timings for operating a charge eraser and scanning system, etc. is accomplished.
