Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a polyester composition having high heat distortion temperature, excellent mechanical properties, and low warpage, by mixing specific amount of malleable and ductile metal powders to an aromtaic polyester.
CONSTITUTION: A composition composed of (A) 100 parts by weight of an aromatic polyester having a reduced viscosity of ≥ 0.7 measured in o-chlorophenol at 35°C at a concentration of 1.2 g/100 ml, and (B) 5W150 parts by weight of malleable and ductile metal powders such as silver, copper, aluminum, etc., having particle diameters of 200W300μ.
EFFECT: A molded article having high heat distortion temperature, excellent mechanical properties such as impact strength, and dimensional stability, and high glossiness, can be obtained.
USE: Automotive parts, mechanical parts, etc.
