Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress the generation of heat due to oxidation of the above-mentioned dust, by dehydrating the slurry of the wet-collected dust, mixing it with the dry- collected dust and applying the teratments such as humidity control, kneading, pelletizing, etc. CONSTITUTION:The concentrated slurry 3' of the wet-collected dust from the converter of non-combusion type and the sludge 7' obtained by concentrating and classifying the wet-collected dust from the blast furnace are mixed uniformly and concentrated in the thickener 11 and, after that, are dehydrated with the dehydrator 12. The obtained cake is crushed roughly with the shredder 14 and is fed to the pelletizer 15 by a definite amount. On the other hand, the iron oxide dust collected with the dry dust collector is fed by a definite amount from the storage tank 13 to the pelletizer 15 and is humidified, kneaded and pelletized at the pelletizer 15 together with the above shredded dehydrated cake. Then, the pelletized granular mixture is stored on the stockyard by means of the conveyor 16 and is reutilized as the raw material for iron manufacture. Besides, the above-mentioned concentrated slurry 3' may be converted to the cake by being dehydrated singly.
