Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate assembly with a reduced number of components, by integrally forming joint tiles on the periphery of a collector frame.
CONSTITUTION: Tile-shaped joints 12, 13 which are connectable to roof tiles are integrally formed outside the frame of the solar collector 11. After a fitting 16 of the frame 11 is fixed by means of a screw 18, a collector 20 is encased through insulation 19, being fixed to the roof by its peripheral fixing hole 21, fitting 16 with a screw 22. Then a heat penetrating plate 24 is fastened by means of a fitting 26 and fitting 23 to the upper opening of the collector frame 11 through an adhesive packing 25, thus completing the assembly of a solar collector. This construction requires no special fittings and facilitates assembly and installation, without spoiling the beauty of the roof nor generating rain leak with reduced a number of roof tiles required.
