Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance interlayer adhesion strength between an organic photoconductor layer of a polyvinylcarbazole-trinitrofluorenone type and a conductive layer, by forming a specified unsaturated polyester resin layer on the conductive layer.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture of an unsaturated polyester varnish, a solution of a first hardener, such as azobis-isobutyronitrile giving high hardening speed, and a solution of a second hardener is coated on an electrophotographic photoreceptor sheet substrate in a film thickness of 10ÅW3μm and heated. The unsaturated polyester resin layer is prehardened under a mild condition by the first hardener. When an varnish of a polyvinylcarbazole-trinitrofluorenone type organic photoconductor is coated and dried with heating, the unsaturated polyester resin layer is perfectly hardened by the second hardener.
