Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate termination to the connector and molding while simultaneously to improve simensional accuracy of parallel section, by arranging insulated conductor and heating during stoppage of the parallel section then adhering the insulated conductor at parallel section in lateral direction. CONSTITUTION:Conductors fed from insulated conductor feedr 1 are collected by collecting guide roll 2 and fed to pair stranding device 3. Pair stranding device 3 is comprised of nozzle 13 having flat gear 10 provided with guide hole 14 and drive roll 4 interlocked with said nozzle 13. Adjoining gears 10 provided on the nozzle 13 are geared each other to strand in opposite directions, while stranded portion of the conductor is pulled by drive roller 4 while rotating the nozzle 13 by predetermined times thus to determine stranding pitch from the ratio between the speed of drive roll 4 and the rotation of nozzle 13. With such method a flat cable where the dimensional accuracy of parallel portion is considerably improved is obtained.
