Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce its deceleration with shortened braking distance, installing a throttle between a change-over valve and hydraulic fluid source, additionally by connecting a fluid vessel between the throttle and the change-over valve.
CONSTITUTION: A throttle 6A is installed in the air supply path 5 between a change-over valve 1A and air source 2, an accumulator 8A is connected between the change-over valve 1A and the throttle 6A, and an auxiliary throttle 9A is installed to the fluid outlet 7 of the change-over valve 1A. A brake operating cylinder 3A is connected to the wheel cylinder 4 through an air chamber 3a, a spring 3b and a piston 3c. Consequently, when the change-over valve 1A is changed over from the position b to the position a, the air pressure in the accumulator 8A is supplied to the operating cylinder 3A, lost time is reduced to t1, subsequently, since the air pressure from the air source 2 is supplied somewhat gradually to the cylinder 3A through the throttle 6A, the brake works to modulate.
