Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate formation of tar which causes heterogeneous combustion at the carburetion and combustion units, by taking in fuel oil through a porous sintered body and mixing with air coming through air holes made also on the sintered body for combustion. CONSTITUTION:A porous sintered burner sucks in fuel oil from the bottom of porous sintered bodies 1, 1' and discharges from other end and burns it being mixed with air through air holes 2, 2'. For making the porous sintered body, Patalite or Kaoline as an aggregate is mixed with carbon as a foaming agent, then formed and baket at 1,000 deg.C-1,300 deg.C to burn carbon completely. The coefficient of oil suction ho<2>/to (where ho is the height of suction from the oil level and to is the time for the oil the reach the height) is characteristic to the porous sintered body, and when the value of coefficient is larger than 1, a less amount of tar is produced.
