Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate insertion of the mount into a circular bulb with both ends closer to each other by a method in which the mount is mounted to the end section once cut off the bulb so as to be inserted into the bulb and then, the end section is jointed together with the bulb again.
CONSTITUTION: End sections 1a and 1b are cut off a circular bulb formed by bending a straight tube. A mount 5 is mounted to the end section 1a so as to be inserted into the bulb 1 and then, the end sections 1a and 1b are joined together with the bulb 1 again. For example, end sections 1a and 1b are cut off a circular bulb 1 formed by heating and bending a straight tube with stems 2 and 3 sealed at both ends thereof. A mount 5 comprising an internal leading-in wire 6, a filament 7 and so on is mounted to one end section 1a and inserted into the bulb 1. Subsequently, the end section 1a and 1b are joined together with the bulb again by a glass welding and an organic adhesive. Thereafter, with the bulb purged, exhusted and filled with a seal gas, a circular lamp is completed.
