Abstract

PURPOSE: To surely prevent malfunction, by avoiding the effect of the voltage dispersion between the anode and cathode of diodes thru the bias voltage of forward direction given to the diode for preventing malfunction of integrated circuits.
CONSTITUTION: In the integrated circuit 1, if the voltage at the output terminal 25 is negative due to noise, the transistor 23 is turned on, and the voltage at the collector terminal 13 is lowered independently of turning off of the transistor 21, causing the transistor 28 to malfunction. To prevent the malfunction, the malfunc- tion prevention circuit 46 is placed. That is, the bias power supply for the diode 43 is constituted with the resistor 41 and the diode 42. Further, the voltage between the anode and cathode of the diodes 42 and 43 is kept equal. Thus, if the voltage at the output terminal 25 is 0V, the transistor 23 never turns on with the diode 43 turned on.
