Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the winding region area of the coil and flatten the winding structure, by winding each turn of the coil wire in a general form of an equilateral triangle so that respective vertices of the successive equilateral triangles are contiguous to each other.
CONSTITUTION: The coil wire l starting from point 0 is bent at points X1, Y1, Z1, to present a general form of an equilateral triangle in the first turn thereof, and its progressive winding is bent successively in the same manner at points X2, Y2, Z2, and X3, Y3, Z3,........, and Xn, Yn, Zn, so that the respective vertices of succesive equilateral triangles formed of respective turns of the coil are contiguous to each other and the outer periphery of the winding is formed of respective vertices of the equilateral triangles and the inner periphery is formed of rspective middle points of three sides of each triaggle. Thus, if th same circumscribed circle is formed, the winding region area of the coil will be larger than in the case in which the coil wound in an equilateral polygon form other than the triangle and the winding structure can be flattened
