Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the stability and heat exchange capacity by simple structure, by providing in a coolant distributor a nozzle valve which is opened/closed by the action of a vibration plate. CONSTITUTION:A coolant flow regulating mechanism, comprising the vibration plate 6 which receives the pressure pulsation of coolant, a nozzle shaft 7 fixed to the vibration plate 6, a coiled spring 8 which elastically supports the vibration plate and has a natural frequency resonant with the pressure pulsation, and a nozzle valve 10 which is formed together with a fixed plate 9 to be opened by the nozzle shaft 7 when the coiled spring 8 resonates, is provided in the coolant distributor 4. Coolant pushes and moves the vibration plate 6 with pressure fluctuation due to the fluctuation in the travel of a piston having proceeded in the direction of the arrow. Then, the nozzle valve is opened and closed. The coolant is atomized even if it is liquid coolant or mixed coolant of liquid and gas. The different in gravity between the liquid adn the gas is eliminated. As a result, the coolant flows uniformly into an evaporator tube without getting clogged. Therefore, the purpose is attained.
