Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a high-reliability parallel redundancy oscillator by providing a number of oscillator circuits consisting of an oscillator, a freuency divider, a line driver and a line receiver and connecting them in parallel so that pluses can be transmitted from other oscillator circuits when any oscillator circuit stops. CONSTITUTION:Reference pulses which are the output from oscillator circuits 1A, 2A and 3A are given to inverters 1, 2 and 3 which are driven in parallel by the common signal line. Here, in oscillator circuit 1A, oscillator 101 which oscillates the frequency N times as high as the reference, frequency 1/N frequency divider 12 which counts pulses from oscillator 101 and is reset by the N-th pulse and generates divided output pulses and is reset by the output of AND gate 15, etc., are provided. Meanwhile, monostable multivibators 13 and 14, line driver 16 and line receiver 17 are provided, and the same constitution as oscillator 1A is given to other oscillators 2A and 3A. Thus, no pulse phase miss detection circuit and selection switch are required, and the circuit constitution is simple.
