Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the title film having improved stretchability and low crystallinity, by bringing a molten film extruded from a ring die into contact with an inside mandrel controlled at a specific temperature to slide along the mandrel. CONSTITUTION:The tubular molten film of polyhexamethylene adipamide 3 extruded from the ring die 1 is brought into contact with and slid along the inside mandrel 2, and cooled to form the film 3. Surface temperatures (T deg.C) of the film 3 just before coming into contact with the inside mandrel 2 are maintained at temperatures of the following relation: 7.5X10-<2>D+220<T( deg.C)<255 (D is the outer diameter of the inside mandrel, mm), and temperatures of the inside mandrel 2 are kept at 70 deg.C or below. EFFECT:Unexcessive cooling provides good slip between the film and the inside mandrel.
