Abstract

On the surface of the wire rod 1 accumulated in the collector 9, only the thin scale layer of thickness below 4mu, consisting of FeO as the main component and being accompanied with a very small amount of Fe3O4, is generated and the pickling and mechanical descaling treatment are not required, so that the secondary working such as cold wire drawing, etc. is made possible as it is.
