Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain always stable outputs by using a phase-locked loop circuit as a means of converting vortex generation number signals to electrical frequencies.
CONSTITUTION: A phase-locked loop circuit consisting of a phase detecyor 41, a low-pass filter 42 and a voltage control oscillator 43 is connected to a preamplifier 23. Then, the output waveforms contaning nozzle frequency components of the preamplifier 23 are waveform-shaped by a Schmitt circuit 48 by way of a low-pass filter circuit consisting of a resistance 44 and a capacitor 45 and a high-pass filter circuit consisting of a resistance 47 and a capacitor 46, whereby the approximate vortex frequencies are detected and these are then converted to voltages in a frequency-voltage conversion circuit 49 and are at the same time locked in the signal frequencies in the phase-locked circuit, thus even when vortex generation is disturbed from small velocity or rate of flow to large velocity or rate of flow, always stable electrical frequencies are outputted
