Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a stable arc and suitable weld penetration and to prevent the oxidation of bead surface, by flowing each specific volume of Ar primary shield gas having a specific component, containing active gas and Ar secondary shield gas and carrying out MIG arc welding using high Ni alloy wire containing Al, Ti, Nb.
CONSTITUTION: Electric current is turned on the high Ni alloy weld wire 1 containing Al, Ti, Nb through the electrode chip 2 and the weld arc 5 is generated and then, the mother material to be welded 7 is welded by MIG arc welding by flowing the primary shield gas 4 from the shield nozzle 3 together with the secondary shield gas 9 from the shield nozzle 8.
