Abstract
PURPOSE: To secure an accurate detection of the time axis fluctuation for the carrier as well as an assured jitter compensation at the reproducing time, by securing a coincidence between the zero-cross point of the FM wave and the changing point of the carrier frequency corresponding to the front or rear edge position of the horizontal synchronous signal.
CONSTITUTION: The reproduction signal given from pickup 1 is supplied to FM demodulation circuit 4 and gate circuit 5 via preamplifier 2 and limiter 3. The output of circuit 4 is applied to video signal process circuit through terminal 6 as well as to synchronous isolation circuit 7, and the horizontal synchronous signal is supplied to fly-wheel oscillator 8 and the output control signal controls circuit 5. Thus, the output signal of circuit 5 is supplied to synchronous position detecting circuit 9, and the detection signal which is delayed by a fixed time less than the horizontal synchronous signal can be obtained in the form of the output.
