Abstract
PURPOSE: Resin compositions resisting thermal discoloration and impact and selfextingushing even when they are formed into thin films, which are composed of an aromatic polycarbonate, a butadiene graft copolymer, a flame retarder and a metal salt.
CONSTITUTION: To 100 parts by wt of resin composition comprising (A) 4W94wt% of an aromatic polycarbonate, (B) 0W90wt% of an aromatic polyester, (C) 1W50wt% of a butadiene graft copolymer that is prepared by grafting monomers selected from methacrylic esters, aromatic monovinyl compounds, vinyl cyanides onto a butadiene polymer, and (D) 5W30wt% of a flame retarder are incorporated (E) 0.01W10 parts of at least one selected from silicates, borates and carbonates of alkaline earth metals, zinc and aluminum. As the flame retarder, the use of a compound not to accelerate the ester interchange reaction is preferred.
