Abstract
PURPOSE:To efficiently produce raw material of stock for large optical fibers by exciting oxidizer and dopant contained SiCl4 to be supplied to a nozzle via partition walls to a non-isothermal plasma state at nozzle outlet and allowing glass to form on target.
