Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a method for making anhydrous porous perform of a glass material, wherein SiCl4, additives and O2 are jet injected into a high temperature nozzle to accumulate the product on fire resisting material, whereby absorption loss and scattering loss of light wave by optical fibers are minimized by a simple production procedure to improve the characteristics thereof.
