Abstract
PURPOSE: To effectively regenerate a sorbing agent for SOx and NOx whose activity has been lowered without draining any waste liquor by calcining the sorbing agent in the presence of a gaseous mixt. of a reducing gas and steam within a specified temp. range so as to convert SOx and NOx sorbed into gaseous substances.
