PURPOSE: To keep NOx absorbing power of absorbing soln., by bringing the absorbing soln. contg. alkali(-earth) metal cpd. and Fe(II)EDTA into gas/liq. contact with exhaust gas contg. NOx and SOx through a grid packing so as to restrain oxidation of Fe(II)EDTA with oxygen.
