Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the potentials of an optical fiber and its sheath the same by providing semiconductor layers making contact to the sheath near the end and terminal fitting. CONSTITUTION:Semiconductor layers 6, 8 are provided between the cable sheath 2 and ring 3 of an optical fiber 1 which is coupled to a silicone adhesive agent, ring 3, terminal fitting 5, etc. by way of an adhesive agent 6 and the fiber 1. The sheath 2 and fiber 1 are kept at the same potential by these layers 6, 8 and the good voltage resistance light guide terminal part which does not cause corona discharge and the like even during the use under high voltage is provided.
