Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a pneumatic spring wherein a face plate is overhung on a rubber film fitting part by downwardly inclining toward the peripheral edge thereof, the inclined plate is fixed to the inner cylinder, and a rigid annular body is formed into a flange shape in which the inner diameter thereof is smaller than the effective diameter of the rubber film, thereby imparting an adequate strength of stability to the spring to increase the range of use. CONSTITUTION:A face plate 10 overhangs the peripheral parts of a rubber film fitting part, and has a part 10a restricting the deformation of the upper angle 12a at more than the predetermined quantity and a tapered part 10b at the lower surface side of said part 10a, and the inner cylinder 11 has an inclined plate in a form of a trancated cone gradually enlarged downward at the outside of the upper end part. The rigid annular body 13 is formed into a flange shape and the inner diameter W1 is made smaller by more than 40 mm than the effective diameter W0 of a rubber film 12 and a rubber flange surface 13. By this constitution, the rigid annular body 13 can decrease the radius of each of upper and lower angle and increase the pressure resistance of the rubber film, and can impact suitable strength of stability to the pneumatic spring up to the great horizontal displacement of the inner cylinder by the tapered part 10, the inclined plate 11a, and the flange surface 13.
