Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize the flow control of refrigerant of the automatic throttling mechanism provided as the pressure reducing device for the refrigerant circulating through freezing cycle by making said flow control relevant to the temperature of the brine cooled down by an evaporator.
CONSTITUTION: An automatic throttling mechanism 5 is provided as refrigerant pressure reducing device in the freezing cycle including the evaporator 3 having a refrigerant compressor 1, a condenser 2 and a cool water heat exchanger 4 all built in. Said automatic throttling mechanism 5 is made by combining two temperature type automatic expansion valves 8 and 8' having different static superheating capacities and two solenoid valves 9 and 9'. The equalizing pipes 10 and 10' on which the refrigerant present on the lower course side of said evaporator 3 as well as communicating pipes (or lead wires) 11 and 11' for communicating to the temperature detectors 12 and 12' attached in the cool water pipe 7 of said evaporator 3 are connected to said automatic expansion valves 8 and 8'. Thereby, the control of refrigerant flow can be stabilized for preventing hunting for example.
