Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable an operator and the like not to change an adjustment condition after a relative mounting position as regard with an ignition time between a distributor and an internal combustion engine proper has been adjusted by an expert. CONSTITUTION:A fixing plate 18 having a hole 21 is mounted by means of a bolt 11 at a boss 3 of a distributor proper through the medium of washers 9 and 10. At that time a relative mounting angle position via the boss 3, the bolt 11 and the hole 21 is adjusted, and the bolt is fully tightened by rotating an auxiliary head 12. A strong torsional moment is applied to a narrow part 13 when a strong rotation force is given to the auxiliary head, the narrow part 13 is broken and the auxiliary head 12 is broken away from a half spherical head of the bolt 11. And thus, the rotation force can not be given to a head 11' because the head 11' of the bolt 11 becomes spherical after the auxiliary head 12 has been broken away.
