Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent any random change of the ignition timing after adjustment by installing pressure actuating apparatus onto a distributor by means of the bolt which has the collar part whose head part and joint part are cut from the collar part when the fastening force above a prescribed value is applied. CONSTITUTION:A pressure actuating apparatus 10 which regulates and controls the enigne ignition timing is installed onto the installation board 12 of the casing 1 for a distributor through the installation plate 14 on which long holes 19 for inserting bolt 20 are formed. The bolt 20 is formed in an integrated unit with the collar part 20a and connection part 20b, and provided with the head part 20c which is fromed rotatable by use of a tool. If the fastening force for the bolt 20 above a prescribed value is applied, after the ignition timing is adjusted by shifting the pressure actuating apparatus 10 in relation to the installation base 12, the head part 20a, and the connection part 20b are cut from the coolar part 20b, and free change of ignition timing can be prevented. As the housing 18 is formed, the bolt 20 is prevented from being caught by the tool.
