Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase repetition time and achieve the improvement in the performance and reliability of the apparatus by creating the flow of ink on the front of the opening part of a chamber which is filled with ink liquid. CONSTITUTION:When a pulse voltage is applied to a piezoelectric element 7, the ink in an ink chamber 2 slightly displaces in the arrow direction. This displacement is increased by an opening part 3 and forces the ink flow out through the end of the opening, causing an ink particle to be flown from an ink effluent part 9. One dot of picture elements is then drawn on paper. The ink of this time is injected in the diagonal direction as shown in 11. Next, when the pressure of the ink chamber 2 lowers, the ink is supplied from the ink flow into the ink chamber 2. In the ink flow at the front of the opening part 3, an ink recovery part 10 is provided in the lower part and ink is circulated by a pump and therefore the viscosity resistance of the ink supplied from the ink flow decreases at the pressure drop of the ink chamber, whereby repetition time is shortened.
