Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform a uniform drying in a short time by projecting ionized particles on the material as it is rotated on a turntable.
CONSTITUTION: The material 1 to be dried is put into a container 3, which is placed on a turntable 2 to be rotated. Under a properly decompressed condition produced by an exhaust device 8, a discharge electrode 5 and a cathode 4 are electrified with high voltage to ionize vaporized molecule; the drying procedure is prompted as ionized molecule is projected against the material 1 to generate ion wind, and air discharge is effected at the same time. The material 1 being rotated, ion impact is dispersed to perform uniform drying in a short time.
