Abstract

PURPOSE: To stop supercharging during driving period while it is unnecessary in such way that a bypass passage having a valve is provided in a turbine in an engine for vehicle equipped with a supercharger, this valve is made to be closed at more than the settled opening degree of a throttle valve in a carburetor.
CONSTITUTION: A bypass 14 having a valve 32 is conducted to an exhaust passage 22 to connect an exhaust bore 21 to a turbine 10 in a supercharger, excessive compressed air is properly exhausted through this bypass 14 into the atmosphere. In concurrence of fixing the top 34 of this valve 32 on a piston 33 slidingly moved in a cylinder 36 with allocating a piston 37 connected through cables 39, 42 and a lever 41 to a throttle grip 43 in this cylinder 36, a spring 38 is interposed between the both pistons 33, 37. For this purpose, when the grip 43 is opened at more than the settled opening degree in the direction of arrow (A), because the both pistons 33, 37 will rise, the valve 32 will close the bypass 14.
